El deportes es uno de los mejores m\u00e9todos para prevenir problemas de salud. La pr\u00e1ctica de un ejercicio o deporte moderado junto a la observaci\u00f3n de otros h\u00e1bitos de vida saludable puede tener consecuencias inmediatas en la reducci\u00f3n de los factores de riesgo como la diabetes, la hipertensi\u00f3n arterial, la arterioesclerosis, la obesidad y la hipercolesterolemia. Con\u00a0el deporte bajan los niveles de colesterol en general y sube el HDL (colesterol bueno). Tambi\u00e9n beneficia a los pacientes con diabetes tipo II al incrementar la sensibilidad de las c\u00e9lulas a la insulina.<\/h6>\n
Adem\u00e1s, el ejercicio f\u00edsico mejora la capacidad org\u00e1nica del coraz\u00f3n<\/strong>, disminuyendo la necesidad de ox\u00edgeno y reduci\u00e9ndose la tensi\u00f3n arterial con lo que la necesidad de f\u00e1rmaco es menor y se mejora la calidad de vida.<\/h6>\n
Se aconseja la realizaci\u00f3n de ejercicio aer\u00f3bico entre tres y cinco veces por semana en sesiones no inferiores a los 30 minutos, controlando la frecuencia cardiaca con el fin de que \u00e9sta se mantenga dentro de niveles de intensidad moderada. Las actividades m\u00e1s recomendadas son andar r\u00e1pido o correr a un ritmo suave, montar en bicicleta y nadar. La intensidad ha de ser moderada y deben moverse grandes grupos musculares.<\/h6>\n
